Beautiful Sleeveless Plunging V-Neck Sheath Wedding Dress with Embroidered Floral Appliques
I fell in love with this dress for the amazing back details! It has a low open scoop back framed with gorgeous lace and has a unique sheer detail right at the base with buttons. Finished with a train that is flowy and very feminine. The floral accents and the shimmer of the dress are amazing!
My dress is the Ivory with Rose/Honey accent (underneath the top lace sheath layer!). You can't see it all in the photos but this dress has so many details including a whole shimmer layer underneath the lace layer.
Fit & Alterations
I had the straps shortened and the bottom hemmed and added the bustle.
- I'm normally a size 4 but the dress itself is a size 8; they recommended ordering up a size so the bottom portion wouldn't be too tight (and it sounded like you generally order wedding dresses big).
- I am 5'3" but I wore 4" heels with my dress since my husband is a foot taller than me and had the dress tailored to work really well with a 2" to 4" heel since I switched to a lower heel later in the night. The length was perfect and still somewhat versatile for various heights.
- I used tape on the day of to hold it in place the day of since you can't really take in the sides of a backless dress. I was nervous about the tape, but it worked great and stayed in place all day!
My tailor was incredible! She told me she has seen a million wedding dresses (she tailored 30 in the month of June alone this year) and this is by far the most beautiful dress she has ever seen!
Professionally cleaned. The dress is still in perfect condition!
