Beautiful Lace Cap Sleeve Ball Gown Wedding Dress
I would say the style of this dress is vintage. It has a beautiful sequined bust and the rest of the dress is beautiful lace with multiple layers underneath including tulle and more lace in different designs.
I fell in love with this dress because even though I was very much pregnant I didn’t feel it in this dress. I felt comfortable and beautiful. The way the capped sleeves sat on my arm made me feel like a princess. And the train is stunning. We left the train the original length. Overall this is a comfortable dress and pretty easy to maneuver in. It has some weight to it but nothing that should stop you. I wore this the whole night until we left.
Alterations: While wearing this dress I was 6 months pregnant so some of the alterations included loosening the stomach area a bit, but not too much. Another alteration includes shortening the dress. I am 5’1” and we left some length so it doesn’t sit right at the ground. I wore Converse during the wedding so with heels it should sit perfectly on the ground. The cap sleeves were tightened a bit and I’m not sure why. I believe they are just folded and sewn a bit. I feel this would be an easy fix.
Designer Description: This lovely cap sleeve ball gown is the perfect combination of grand and soft. Embellished with beading and lace appliques, the gown's soft volume and fluid movement is created by over 35 yards of tulle, as a champagne lining lends warmth and dimension.
