This is an Oscar De La Rental Ivory Silk Organza Strapless Pleated Gown. I wore this once for my July 2010 wedding. It was subsequently cleaned and I had it preserved. I recently took it out of the preservation box to take additional pictures for this ad. I am 5'6" and wore 2.5 inch heels with this for the wedding ceremony and pictures. When the train was tucked under, I changed into 1.5 inch heels for the reception. I had alterations done to the ruffles at the bottom of the dress to adjust for my height with the shoes. I did not have any alterations to the bodice. Because I did not make any alterations to the bodice, I reference the Oscar De La Renta size guide measurements in the "sizes" section of this listing. There are two slight tears in the back left hand side of the dress (I've shown in pictures below). that occurred when someone stepped on the back of my dress when I was dancing. These are not very obvious when looking at the dress and I think these could likely be mended by a seamstress. The price reflects these tears. This is a beautiful dress and I loved wearing it on my wedding day!
